About

Amanda has always had a passion for movement. Her childhood was dedicated to competitive figure-skating in which training incorporated yoga and meditation as an outlet to relieve anxiety and stay grounded during competitions. Yoga allowed me to find myself, honor who I am and live my most authentic life. With the heart of a student and nearly two decades of self practice, I began to study yoga in my early 20’s and completed my first YTT. Since then, i’ve completed several different teacher trainings and continuing education workshops over the years.

I believe that yoga is for everybody and I teach in a way that provides a safe, empowering environment to learn and grow, or to just be. Holding space for students to find their own way is such a powerful experience and I strive to provide that in each and every student interaction. Through intention, meditation, pranayama and asana my goal is to have students leave each class feeling refreshed and renewed.  My classes are always challenging physically and mentally delivered in English and Sanskrit with calming music, including demonstrations and hands on assists. I aim to live a yogic lifestyle and lead my classes in a way that reflects that choice.

I have had the opportunity to share my passion of yoga in some amazing spots here in the UAE including, the top of the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab helicopter pad, top of Jebel Jais, Dubai Frame, Dubai Opera and many more! I am looking forward to meeting you on the mat.
